How it works.
The Boat Lift Security System keeps the lift from unauthorized operation. This security system isn’t detectable on the lift. When the system is armed, the patent-pending circuits limit the boat lift system to about 50 milliamps of current and the lift will not operate.
When the Boat Lift Security System is activated, and an attempt to operate the lift is detected, the patent-pending circuits will power the alarm portion of the system, and will continue until the manual reset occurs.
Once activated, the alarm cannot be shut off from the outside. It can be linked to your home security system or the police.
Each package comes with an electrical box, a horn/light device, installation instructions and warranty information. NOTE: It is required that these products are installed by a licensed electrician.

LIMITS OF WARRANTY AND PRODUCT LIABILITY
Boat Lift Security Systems, Inc. warrants the Boat Lift Security System for a period of one year from the date of sale to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship when installed as in accordance with the terms of this Warranty and as otherwise set forth herein. If during the Warranty period the Boat Lift Security System fails due to a manufacturing defect, the unit will be repaired or replaced at the option of Boat Lift Security Systems, Inc.
Each device is inspected during assembly and packaging and is guaranteed to be shipped in good condition. Items found broken, defective, or otherwise damaged upon receipt should be reported to us within 10 days of receipt, for credit or replacement.
The use of the Boat Lift Security System requires that the unit be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with all industry standards for electrical devices to be installed both indoors and out of doors and in the proximity of both salt water and fresh water where portions of the device may be subject to inclement weather. Further, said device is to be installed in accordance with all applicable local, state and industry requirements, codes and regulations. The warranty shall be voided for failure to have the device installed accordingly or by any alterations of equipment, tampering or misuse of the equipment.
Boat Lift Security Systems, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages from the installation and use of this product. If the Boat Lift Security System causes any loss or injury to the person or property of the purchaser or a third party, the liability of Boat Lift Security Systems, Inc. is limited to the purchase price of the Boat Lift Security System.
This Warranty is made expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for particular purpose. No employee, agent, franchise, dealer or other person is authorized to give any warranties of any nature on behalf of Boat Lift Security Systems, Inc.
